Chief Bark Officer, in memoriam
Scout was the Chief Bark Officer at Mike Murphy Law Group and a member of the Halifax office. He was a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, and he belonged to managing partner Aodhan Murphy, who called him his best buddy.
Scout has died. His page stays here because he was part of this firm for as long as he was in it.
Scout Announced the Mail and the Clients
Scout watched the door. He announced the mail and every new client, whether they had come about a car accident, another injury, or a criminal charge. The humans then took over.
Point Pleasant Park and a Ball at Reception
Long walks, and Point Pleasant Park with Aodhan in particular. At reception he handed clients his ball and expected it thrown until their lawyer was ready. A good many people who came to the Halifax office on the worst day of their year met the dog first.
