Mike Murphy Law Group has five law offices in Atlantic Canada, reachable in person, by phone or by video: two in New Brunswick, one in Nova Scotia, one in Prince Edward Island and one in Newfoundland and Labrador. The firm takes personal injury claims in all four provinces and defends criminal charges in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

The Five Law Offices in Atlantic Canada and the Court Each Appears In

The Moncton office is the firm’s principal office and the base of its trial team. It runs New Brunswick injury claims and criminal defence, and it is where the firm’s two record decisions were tried and argued. Most of the firm’s lawyers, the founder among them, practise from Moncton.

The Saint John office serves southern New Brunswick and the Fundy coast. The firm’s New Brunswick criminal defence practice is led from there, and the office takes injury claims heard in the Court of King’s Bench sitting in Saint John.

The Halifax office runs every Nova Scotia claim and is the managing partner’s base. Nova Scotia files go to the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, where either party can ask for a civil jury.

The Charlottetown office takes Prince Edward Island injury claims, heard in the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island.

The St. John’s office takes Newfoundland and Labrador injury claims, heard in the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, General Division.

Every office page lists the claim types run from that office, with a link to each province page under injury law areas. It names the court the office appears in, summarises the province’s insurance rules in a paragraph, and names the lawyers based there with links to their profiles under the team. First Meetings Can Be by Video or Phone

A first meeting does not have to be at an office. Lawyers meet clients by video and by phone. Much of the firm’s Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador work runs that way with the Halifax and Moncton lawyers. Ask when you call.
