Michael Byrne is a litigator at Mike Murphy Law Group. He grew up in Halifax and acts for clients in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick from the Halifax office. He was called to both bars in 2023. He acts for individuals, not for insurers.

Commerce at Mount Allison, Law at Dalhousie, Six Years Coaching Ski Racing

Michael took a Bachelor of Commerce at Mount Allison University and then his law degree at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law. He was admitted to the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick bars in the same year, 2023.

He ski raced at a national level and played football to the collegiate level. Between his two degrees he spent six years coaching alpine ski racing professionally at an international level.

Ski Coaching, Mountain Biking and Kitesurfing

Michael still coaches provincial-level ski racing and consults for Ski Nova Scotia. Otherwise he is mountain biking, kitesurfing, skiing, with family, or outside with his black lab.
