Claude was born in Shippagan and grew up in Northern New Brunswick, mostly outdoors. He finished his criminology degree at l’Université de Moncton in 2019. During that degree he interned with Correctional Service Canada and did in-reach work in the community and inside penitentiaries. He decided on law during that placement.

He stayed at l’Université de Moncton for his Juris Doctor and graduated in 2023.
