Matt leads the Criminal Defense Division in New Brunswick at the Mike Murphy Law Group.

 

After completing his Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Accounting at the University of New Brunswick, Matt obtained his law degree from UNB as well. Prior to joining Mike Murphy Law Group, Matt practiced at a mid-sized law firm, handling matters ranging from criminal defense to family law and wills & estates.

 

Having successfully appeared in Provincial Court and the Court of King’s Bench across numerous New Brunswick jurisdictions, Matt brings high-quality litigation experience to the firm.

 

Matt is also deeply involved in his community as the Vice Chair of FusionSJ, where he helps young professionals and newcomers thrive in Saint John. When not in the courtroom, Matt has a passion for baseball, loves to travel, and possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of sitcoms.
