Biography

Criss had a distinguished career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), retiring in 2021, and decided to pivot towards the legal field, driven by a passion for advocacy and justice. He holds an undergraduate degree in Information Networking and Telecommunications (2012) and a Master of Science in Computing Forensics and Cybercrime Investigations (2014), a graduate degree restricted to law enforcement professionals. Criss graduated with honours from the University of Law in London, England, and subsequently completed a Master of Laws at the University of Toronto in 2024. 

During his tenure at the RCMP, Criss gained extensive knowledge and expertise as an investigator, collision analyst, and digital forensics analyst. These skills have fueled his commitment to helping others navigate challenging legal landscapes in personal injury, with a strong interest in motor vehicle collisions, and criminal law, with a focus on cyber and technological crime-related offenses. 

Criss’s journey from the RCMP to the legal profession illustrates his resilience, adaptability, and commitment to making a difference. He is excited to continue his path towards becoming a trusted and effective advocate, offering his services in both English and German. 

Outside of work, Criss values maintaining a healthy work-life balance, dedicating time to personal growth and family. He is an avid motorcyclist who enjoys the freedom and adventure that riding brings.
